Please use extreme caution while burning.

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers passed Bylaw 2026-31 on the 24th day of June, 2026.

File No. ZBA 26-001; Bylaw 2026-31

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To allow for a reduced front yard setback for an accessory building, in the Rural zone. The property subject to this amendment is described as May Township, Parcel 28345, Plan 53R10736, Part 1, Birch Lake Road

APPEAL – The last date for filing a notice of appeal of the by-law is July 20, 2026. Any such appeal must be filed with the clerk of the municipality and must set out the reasons for the appeal and must be accompanied by the fee required by the Ontario Land Tribunal. Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a by-law to the Ontario Land Tribunal. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf. No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person of public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the Council of the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers or, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.

This bylaw is available for inspection in the municipal office during regular office hours.

User Fee Notice

Take Notice that pursuant to Section 391 of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers intends to consider a bylaw to adopt the proposed new Schedule of User Fees Bylaw and the Amended Building Permit Fees Bylaw for services provided by the municipality (see below).

Any person may make verbal or written comments regarding the proposed amendments to the bylaws.  Comments regarding the proposed bylaws will be received by the Clerk until Friday, October 4^th, 2024 at 4:00 PM by telephone at (705) 865-2646, by email at inquiries@sables-spanish.ca, or by mail at Township of Sables-Spanish Rivers (11 Birch Lake Rd, Massey, ON P0P 1P0).
